What's New In Reactor 5.5

Offering the perfect marriage of comprehensive workflow functionality and “point and click” deployability, Reactor 5.5 offers a wide range of new features and benefits, including:

Reusable Process Components – Use the new Clip Explorer to create, save, share, and use reusable process components to speed up workflow construction.

Integrated Forms – Create activity-by-activity interactive forms using point-and-click Start Form, Work Item Form, and Completion Form designer. Link to external PDF forms using the new “PDF Form” operand type.

Graphical Routing Rules – New “Decision Node” allows users to specify complex routing rules without coding.

Business Activity Monitoring - Reactor Portal provides a graphical view for monitoring the progress of an instance.

Enhanced Audit Logging – New audit log now records operand updates and ACL changes in addition to process start, stop, status changes, and timers. Audit Log is accessible through the Reactor Portal in real time.

Integrated Reporting - Reactor Portal incorporates integrated process activity reporting which allows for the real-time reporting of past and currently running processes.

Enhanced Work List Management – Delegate or Transfer any activity, see completed activities and instances. Unopened activities are highlighted.

Annotations – Attach public or private notes to any activity.

Extensible Data Types – Define complex, configurable operand types using XML, including “mapped” types that correspond to external objects.

Improved Event Model – Polices may now attach actions to operand updates and ACL changes in addition to process start, stop, status change, and timer events.

Customizable Process Model – Use of Statuses to model “sub-states” and transition protocols is illustrated in the implementation of new “Delegate” and “Transfer” features.

Enhanced WSDL – Control every function of the Reactor Engine via a rich Web Services API.
