Oak Grove Systems Announces Per-CPU, Unlimited
User, Fully-Supported Pricing for Reactor 5 Embedded Java Workflow
Engine
Rising client demand prompts firm to expand Web services-enabled
product's purchase options beyond current source-code-only offering
CALABASAS, Calif. (October 1, 2002) -- Software
developer Oak Grove Systems Inc, provider of robust embedded workflow
engines, today announced the availability of its Reactor 5 Java-based,
XML-driven process engine for $10,000 per CPU with unlimited users and
full support.
The new Server License will provide clients with all the components of
the Reactor 5 Suite, including Reactor Studio, Server and Portal Framework.
The new offering also includes such additional benefits as one year of
maintenance upgrades, programmer documentation and technical support.
"Our new purchase model is perfectly suited to the needs of software
systems integrators, consultants and service providers because it gives
them exactly what they need: a low, controllable cost per install - backed
by comprehensive levels of product support," said CEO of Oak Grove
Systems, Charles Ames.
Developed in response to firms who want all the features of Reactor 5
- but don't need the source code - the new offering is expected to help
Oak Grove further expand its fast-growing client base, which already includes
such industry leaders as Sybase, Plumtree and Avasta.
In fact, the product has already been purchased by the enterprise software
development firm, GlueCode. "Reactor 5 is the single-best workflow
product we found on the market," said Winston Damarrillo, President
of GlueCode. "We have already embedded the Reactor 5 functionality
into the GlueCode Composite Application Portal and have been very impressed
by its power and ease of integration."
Oak Grove Systems will demonstrate Reactor 5 at the Web Services Edge
2002 West show in San Jose, California, October 1 - 3, at booth number
#522.
