What
Do Estelle, PPG and California State University Los Angeles Have in
Common?
They were all present for the Grand Opening of the Student Union at
California State University, Los Angeles.
The
Student Union features approximately 100,000 square feet that includes
a state of the art theater, fitness center, a three story atrium
and lounge areas for studying and socializing throughout.
The
lounge furniture, design and interiors were provided by PPG, who
worked in tandem with the Executive Director, Joseph Aguirre in
selecting lobby, seating and dining areas throughout the Student
Union as well as the Cross Cultural Centers, Associated Students,
Inc, Center for Student Involvement and the Student Union Administration
and Staff offices.

Rotarian
Elizabeth Wheeler served as the program sponsor for the L.A. 5 Rotary
Club's January 23 lunch presentation featuring keynote speaker Ray
Landy, CEO and President of AECOM.
As part of his dual
role with the firm, Landy oversees the company's global design practice,
which integrates architecture, technology and management services.
During his 26 years
with Los Angeles-based DMJM H&N/AECOM, Landy has helped shape
the company's continued development of design excellence, sustainability,
program/construction management, and integrated platforms.
